24th July – Social meet up – Whale Watching

This is a one-day walking adventure through Sydney’s Royal National Park. Experience Aboriginal rock carvings, bizarre sandstone formations and the White Cliffs of Marley.

Meet up at: Cronulla Ferry Dock 8:15am, for an 8:30am departure to Bundeena.
Drive/catch a train to Cronulla Train Station. Turn left outside the train station, go under the bridge. There is a sign saying ‘Bundeena Ferry’. It’s a 3-5 minute walk to the ferry. There are a couple of car parking areas behind the train station.

This is a 4-5 hours easy to meduim walk. We will have lunch on the cliff tops and look for whales.
The ferry back to Sydney departs Bundeena at 5pm.

Bring:
- your own water, snacks and lunch.
- binoculars if you have any (not essential!)
Wear:
- sneakers.

Although we cannot guarantee you will see a whale, it would be highly unusual if we didn’t during their May-November migration!

-it’s about a 12min walk twds Kings X from Town Hall Station
Parking;
-there are some metered spaces on St Marys Rd and Cathedral St. There is also a secure parking building at the end of Cathedral St (which is about a 2 second walk to bodhi!).

Announcing a new Meetup for The Sydney Dream Team!

What: Australian Comedy Festival at the worlds Funniest Island

When: October 18, 2009 10:00 AM

Where: If you are joining us at the comedy festival on Sunday; we will be meeting up near the wharf on Cockatoo Island when the first ferry gets in from King Street Wharf ~10:45. If you have trouble finding us then you can always text myself or Tony on 0407 884 509 or 0410 562 488. Looking forward to some great laughs.

Join us for a day of fun and laughter at the comedy festival which is being held on Cockatoo Island. Ferries depart Wharf 8/9 King St, Darling Harbour from 10:00am.

August 7th – Social Event – Centential Park

Hi All

Sunday the 7th August sees the Sydney Dream Team returning to Centenial
Park for a ” lazy sunday afternoon” !

What to bring: bring your family, some friends, some food, something to
drink, a blanket, a lttle table, a few chairs (if you like or sit on the
grass) oh and a BIG SMILE.

What time: do I hear you ask 11 ish to 2 ish.

Drive on to parkes Dr opposite the Centenial Park Coffee Shop lots of
trees and grass look to the left and we shall be thir look for the
signs as you drive along the Grand Parade.
